It’s not every day a local student scores 100 per cent on a provincial diploma exam in mathematics. When The Leader heard that Campbell Rea, a Grade 12 Roland Michener School student, was one of 250 kids out of 13,000 in all of Alberta to get a ‘perfect’ on his Math 30 exam, we were impressed! So was Rea.
“I am pretty happy,” he says. “I yelled and screamed! I was pretty excited when I saw my score.”
“He was the only one in the school to get a perfect score,” adds senior-high vice principal Matt Carter. “Campbell also was one of four students to get 98 per cent on other various diploma exams.”
Rea is heading down to the University of Alberta in the fall to study engineering.
