Looking for something to do on Friday afternoons? Then look no further than the The Brick parking lot, where the Slave Lake Farmers Market will be stationed with various booths. The market runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Friday.

The Slave Lake Petroleum Association’s Oilmen’s Golf Tournament is happening on August 17 and 18 at the Gilwood Golf and Country Club.
Registration is open to all this year, not limited to the traditional oilmen definition.
The registration fee has been reduced from $1,500 to $1,000 to encourage more entries.

As of July 10, hours of operation at the Lesser Slave Lake Regional Waste Management Facility are as follows: Tuesday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
