RMSS had a super last week. Here’s what we were up to:

Jr. Girls’ Volleyball: Team played Wednesday. They hosted the 4-team Wednesday Night League finale. Here is how it went down:

– Semi #1 – Our Rams lost to the Christian School by scores of 25-21 and 25-12

– Semi #2 – St. Francis Falcons defeated Kinuso Lady Knights by scores of 25-22 and 25-23.

– Bronze Medal Game – The scores were 25-16 for the Rams in game one; then Kinuso won the next two by scores of 25-23 and 16-14. Congrats to both teams for putting on a great display of volleyball!

– Gold Medal Game – The Christian School was victorious versus the Falcons in this match. They claimed the league banner & gold medals by winning two games straight. The scores were 25-10 and 25-22. Congrats also to the silver medallists from St. Francis.

Thanks to all coaches and players for the entertaining season of volleyball. We would like to thank all the referees, linesmen and organizers who made this league happen, especially Joe Kirby, the founding father who brought this league to life!

The list is read aloud throughout the school to recognize all nominees and then a random draw determines our weekly winner. Congratulation to last week’s winner  – A.J. Orr!
