If you’re wondering if the 2020/21 Stage North concert series is going ahead or not….. so were we. So we asked board member Ellen Criss for the latest. Here’s the situation – at least as of early last week, when she sent the following email:
“We are going ahead eventually. But I don’t have a date for a start. We have polled people online about their preferences in regards to COVID and concerts. If you mention anything, perhaps ask folks to complete the survey on social media – FB Stage North Association. The survey takes five minutes…. we appreciate the feedback. The due date is (by printing was) the end of August. We have a line-up of shows ready to go, and can’t wait to share and support these artists. With AHS regulations as applicable of course. Because our numbers will be COVID-restricted, we are not offering season packages. Each show will be advertised individually, and most likely tickets will be all the same price – flat rates.”
There you have it.
As to why the dates haven’t been finalized, Criss said “there are a lot of moving parts.” Some or all of it should be cleared up before long and we’ll be able to share the dates.
