Second straight for the Bags

The Dirt Bags, a mostly Slave Lake team, won the Widewater Sports Days men’s baseball tournament for the second time on Sunday. The Bags made mincemeat of the opposition, going undefeated and winning by big scores. They defeated Slave Lake’s other entry in the 60th annual tournament – the Cardinals – by a 14 – 0 score in Sunday’s final, earning the Ann Bartlett Memorial Trophy.
