Signs that its a good time to sell your home

Even though we’ve still got snow on the ground (Again!), it is supposed to be Spring! And with that, people get restless and get “Spring Fever” and want to sell their homes. So just because its Spring, does that mean it’s a good time to sell?
Here are some outside circumstances that demonstrate that it’s a good time to sell your home.
Interest Rates are Low. When rates are low, there is a good chance that potential buyers will come out of the woodwork and will want to turn from being casual tire kickers to serious buyers.
Rates in Alberta have been quite low in 2017 and according to many local lenders, it doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon.
Economic New is Not all Bad! Negative economic news plays a huge part in slowing home sales across the board.
Everyone remembers hearing of all the job losses and businesses closing, across the Province in 2016. It seemed the whole year was bad news!
But now that we are into 2017, the news isn’t all bad anymore! People are back to work, Christmas debts are being paid off and people are buying again! There is a feeling of Optimism in the Community that we have turned that Economic Corner!
That always translates to Real Estate and we are feeling it too! We are busy!
There are buyers in the $300,000-$400,000 range but its spreading into both the lower and the higher ranges as well. There are a lot of new listings coming onto the market very quickly giving buyers many options.
