January 14, 1997 – April 6, 2018
Conner Jamie Lukan, born in Slave Lake, Alberta on January 14th, 1997, passed away tragically at the age of 21, while travelling with his Humboldt Broncos family on April 6th, 2018.
Conner spent his life doing what he loved, playing hockey. He grew up in Widewater & Slave Lake before moving away to Spruce Grove at the age of 13 to pursue his passion. Conner’s big heart, coupled with his pug nose and award-winning smile, made him loved by all who knew him. He loved golfing, spending time with his family, lake life, anything with a motor, and Tim Horton’s coffee.
Conner is survived by his loving family, parents Lorne & Robin Lukan, brother Kolby (Jayde) Lukan, Sister Kennedy Lukan, grandparents Robert & Janet Bottle and Diane Lukan. Aunts and uncles Jayna & Gregg McGloin, Tammy
(Greg) Lukan, Jeff (Breann) Lukan, and cousins Bryson & Brittany McGloin, Luke & Harlow Lukan-Kubel and numerous extended family. He is predeceased by Aunt Torrina Lukan, Uncle Jamie Lukan, Grandpa Billy Lukan, and his great grandparents.
A special thanks to all of the first responders on the scene, the community of Humboldt, and the Broncos organization for all of their support during this time.
Conner’s service will be held on Wednesday April 18th, 2018 at 1:00pm at The Gathering Place, with a luncheon to follow at the Multi Rec Centre in Slave Lake, Alberta.
