As of May 19, Slave Lake remains at five cases – all recovered.
Like last week, there are very few new COVID-19 cases in the Alberta Health Services North Zone.
Since May 15, there is only one new case in the North Zone. The new case is in MacKenzie County, which includes High Level, Fort Vermilion, and other communities in northwestern Alberta. MacKenzie County has 33 cases – seven active and 26 recovered.
Across the North Zone there are 229 cases. The majority of these cases have recovered. There are 197 recovered, 17 active, and 15 deaths.
