‘It’s a small world,’ at St. Francis School

Students at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy in Slave Lake have been working away on projects and last week put them on display. Entitled ‘It’s a Small World After All,’ the project was part of the CTF (Career Technology Foundation) class. Each group of students was required to choose a country and research four aspects of the country and its culture. On Feb. 4, they showed off the results. It was pretty impressive, with exotic foods, games, cultural stories and so on, including hard copy and video displays.

Upcoming events: St. Francis is holding an archery tournament on Monday, March 9, with flights (shooting times) starting at 12:30 p.m. and going until 8:30 p.m.
