Grandmother cycles for cancer

Roberta Hunt, from Kinuso, raised $3,603, which was over $2,500 more than her goal in the Great Cycle Challenge. One donation was from Hunt’s granddaughter who sold painted rocks. People can continue to donate until the end of September.
Hunt says, “The little girl I rode in memory of sure gave it her all to fight this battle and inspired me to live life to its fullest. I did an extra 9 km (total of 209 km) as that was the age Cassie was when she lost her battle. I know she was pushing me through some of the days I rode in the sun, wind, rain and hail.”
