Getting fancy!

Fancy dancer Nikosis Isadore performs for spectators at the National Aboriginal Day celebration on June 21st in Slave Lake.
The event highlighted Métis and Indigenous culture.
The Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre hosted its event at the local multi-recreational centre which included traditional music, dancers, food and games.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has officially changed the name of the day to ‘ National Indigenous Peoples Day.’ So in a way, this was the last official celebration under ‘National Aboriginal Day.’
