Anglers Cup gives back

The Lesser Slave Lake Regional Firefighters Society received a donation of $7,500 from the Canadian Tire Anglers Cup this year for helping run the tournament. Presenting the cheque for the Anglers Cup is Tracey Crain; accepting, left to right, are firefighters Joel Flemmer, Ryan Coutts and Logan Skahl.
The Slave Lake Curling Club helped with the Anglers Cup last month. In recognition, the AC donated $4,500 to the club. Accepting are Chase Nehring, Nick Carpenter, Parker Hay, Owen Pearson and Hunter Mouallem.
The Anglers Cup donated $1,000 to the Slave Lake Army Cadets. Accepting for the cadets are Seth Briggs and Marcus Paquette.
Gilwood Golf Club received a $2,500 donation from the Anglers Cup. Accepting are Gilwood seasonal employees Hayley Sloan, Chase Nehring, Nicholas Carpenter, Owen Pearson, Colby Cyr, Hunter Mouallem and Parker Hay.
