Thanks to Roland Eben-Ebenau, historical photos of high quality are being digitized and entered into the archive at the Rotary Club of Slave Lake Library. Roland’s father Reinhold homesteaded on the shore of Lesser Slave Lake in the 1930s and he had a passion for recording things photographically – among many other things. The photo above is from the summer of 1942. The adults pictured, left to right, are Edmond Twin, Reinhold Eben-Ebenau and Chief Paul Twin. The names of the boys were not recorded, but they are likely the sons of one or the other of the gentlemen pictured.
