‘The envelope please’ – Chamber’s 2019 Business Excellence Awards nominees

The top three nominees for each of the 12 award categories for the Slave Lake Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Excellence Awards nominees were announced a couple Fridays ago via the Chamber’s Facebook page.

Kim Hughes, executive administrator for the Slave Lake and District Chamber of Commerce, congratulates all nominees and thanks all of this year’s award sponsors. This year the Chamber had a total of 570 nominations.

The following are the nominees for each category:

The business of the year award is sponsored by Brokerlink and the nominees are Burger Plus, Cast + Court and Second Helping.

Businessperson of the year award is sponsored by Whitecap Chevrolet Buick GMC and the nominees are Murray Broadhead, Terri Pukanich and Bruce Allarie.

Commercial/retail business of the year award is sponsored by Revolution Ford and the nominees are Random Thoughtz, Southshore Hidden Treasures and Canadian Tire.

The industrial business of the year award is sponsored by Boston Pizza and the nominees are Herbs Heavy Equipment Repair, Plains Midstream and La Crete Transport.
