Indigenous games celebration at RMSS

Indigenous support coaches with Roland Michener Secondary School held a celebration on May 16 to honour Traditional Dene and Arctic Winter Games.
The celebration kicked off with opening remarks and a prayer from an Indigenous elder, as Dene Drummers performed.
The C.J. Schurter School jigging club also performed some dances to entertain guests while they enjoyed a hotdog or bannock burger, followed by a draw for door prizes.
