High Prairie RCMP seek witnesses after teen struck by vehicle on Halloween night

High Prairie RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a suspect vehicle that struck a 13 year old boy on October 31, 2017.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. High Prairie RCMP responded to the intersection of 53rd Avenue and 48th Street in response to a pedestrian collision. A silver/white sedan turning west bound from 48th Street struck the boy as he was crossing the roadway north bound. The suspect vehicle continued west bound and did not stop.
The boy was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital and released. The investigation is ongoing.
