Escape The Room, concert and Paint Night at Alliance Church

The Slave Lake Alliance Church has a busy month planned. The Church has three more significant events coming up.
Makala Bell secretary for the church says a few of the upcoming larger events are as followed
Escape The Room
This is an annual event led by a fellow church member, Carol Baker. This event is run by a volunteer group, W.H.O.D.A.T (We are Helping Others Develop and Thrive), which is based out of the church.
Bell says the event will be held on April 13 and 14 at a wide range of times each day.
There are two different escape room themes: Star Trek and Narnia.
Each group of participants will get one hour to figure out the clues and escape the room. The cost is $15 per person, and all proceeds will be going to Kiziba Refugee Camp in Rwanda.
The event is open to the public.
Family Paint Night
Bell says this event is very similar to Ladies Paint Night the church had held the previous week, but this time it is led by the church volunteer group, Social Committee.
This committee plans socializing events for church members to attend in an effort to create a family atmosphere of support and also a safe place to bring friends who don’t go to the church. Bell says the group plans one event a month, and the dates vary, but it’s generally on a Friday evening.
The night will be instructed by Krista Rockwell again, and the cost is only $10 per person.
The Willms Concert
This concert is being held at the Alliance Church and the organization behind it is the CIAM Radio 107.5 The Dove.
Bell says that The Willms are three sisters from Goodlow B.C. who play bluegrass Christian music.
The concert is on April 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
Bell says there is no entrance fee but a “good will offering” will be taken during the concert.
To register for any of these events, go to the church website, www.slavelakealliance.com, under the events tab.
