Eight of the 12 members of the Slave Lake Sharks swim club who competed at the regional meet in Grande Prairie qualified for the provincial championships. Those happened this past weekend in Edmonton.

Elly Friesen qualified in all four of her swims winning two golds and two silver medals and one bronze medal in the Girls 14 & Under Medley Relay.
