For the Lakeside Leader

Thursday night Men’s League this week featured the top four seeds of the regular season in their first post-season game and facing the winners from last week. Number one seed Sheet Disturbers defeated the Plains squad. Two seed and defending champion Hammertime dispatched Some Indians & Some White Guys. Whitecap Sheetheads were able to outlast the Bushmen while two-time former champion Snap On upset three seed Silvertip.

Next week’s semi final pairings will have the Sheet Disturbers squaring off against the Whitecap Sheetheads and Hammertime taking on Snap On.

Mixed League finalists are still to be determined.

Monday night league play saw Mor-Port leapfrog Fourth End Freestyle in the standings after defeating them in a head to head contest. With the win, Skip Pam Morrison and her crew moved into second spot in a bid to play Ribs in the league final on March 19th. Ribs advanced to the final with a win over the Falcons and guaranteed themselves first overall in the regular season.
