Judge G.W. Paul
Phillip Elwood Kotz appeared in court and pled guilty to one count of fraudulently obtaining food.
According to the Crown attorney, Kotz was arrested on July 17th, 2017 after he refused to pay his tab at a local pub.
Officers said they received a complaint from an employee and when they attended, found Kotz sitting at the bar.
He indentified himself and admitted he racked up a bill of $70.56 knowing he wouldn’t be able to pay it.
“This was highly inappropriate,” said Judge Paul.
Kotz was ordered to pay the pub back what he owed.
