A walk to support the friends and families of missing and murdered indigenous women

On October 4 the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre hosted a walk to support the friends and families of missing and murdered indigenous women in Canada. Several members of the community came out to show their support including local members of the RCMP and Metis Region 5 Vice President, Hilda Lambert. The walk began in front of the library and ended at the Friendship Centre followed by a stew and bannock luncheon.
